Caribbean Express is a 1984 custom-built fiberglass sport yacht featuring twin 540 cubic inch Merlin engines with Heavy Duty Chevy Big Block configuration, each producing 454 hp with only 200 hours of operation. Originally constructed by the current owner at Nordin Industries facility, this 42-foot vessel showcases meticulous craftsmanship with Klegecell closed-cell foam core hull construction and a 4-foot stern extension for optimal 8-degree propeller shaft angles.

The vessel is powered by twin Vortec supercharged engines with direct port fuel injection, computer-controlled ignition, steel crankshafts, H-beam rods, and 4" x 4" side exhausts. Two sets of propellers accommodate both short-range speed runs and 1,000-mile cruising range operations. Beefed-up BorgWarner transmissions with extra clutch discs and monel shafts provide heavy-duty reliability.

Interior features custom ribbon mahogany cabinetry throughout, electric heating system, full-length sliding side windows, 360-degree visibility from lower helm, and comprehensive storage including underfloor compartments for fresh water (50 gal), holding (35 gal), and fuel (300 gal) tanks. Electronics include multiple Garmin GPS units, full instrumentation panel, VHF, depthsounder, and automatic Halon fire suppression in engine room.
